For reference I did not have to modify my Micropod, and I used a doughnut magnet to trigger the sensors as prompted, so I did not need a separate scanning tool. I purchased my Micropod from theOBDII365.com websiteper the link that many have recommended. (It did come with all software needed, for $135.) I also followed the posted instructions regarding recommended computer and procedure to load the software. I would have never figured this out on my own.
I am located in the southern Va. if anyone in the area may want help in resetting their TPMS light after installing new sensors. We’ll give it a try.

Here’s the working solution to Chrysler diagnostic tool wiTech Micropod 2 clone (#SP271-C1) “No longer Supported by wiTech 1.0” error.
Error:
“This vehicle is supported by wiTECH 2.o software. This vehicle is no longer supported by wiTECH 1.0. Please use wiTech 2.0 to service this vehicle. You will return to discovery. ”
Please DON’T update your wiTech to V2.0 even if you have online account. You cannot do downgrade anymore and will have risk of being locked by Chrysler server.
Solution 1.
Remove current version V17.04.27, download and install lower version witech 17.03.10.
